Magic Up

TheMagic Up (Japanese: ＭアップM Up) is astaff exclusive toFire Emblem: Thracia 776. Magic Up is equivalent to theWard staff from other games in theFire Emblem series: it increases the target's resistance to magic attacks by increasing theirmagic stat by 7 points when first used, with the effect decreasing by one point by each turn; however, as magic inThracia 776 determines both the unit's damage dealt and taken from magic attacks, and Magic Up also increases its target's magical offense, unlike Ward which only increases magical defense.Pure Waters inThracia 776 provide the same effect.
