TheMage General (Japanese:魔道軍将Magic General) is a title granted to a magically adept general in Etruria's army.

During the events ofFire Emblem: The Blazing Blade,Pent, the Count of Reglay, was the Mage General, having been in the position for three years;[1] however he resigns after concluding the conflict withNergal to further his studies after the passing of his mentorAthos.Erk was offered the position upon Pent's retirement, but he refused.[2] However, he seems to have eventually taken up the title.[3] Some 20 years afterThe Blazing Blade, during theDisturbance of Bern inThe Binding Blade, the Mage General isCecilia, who also mentored theLycian nobleRoy during his studies in Etruria.Clarine feels confident that she can attain the title.[4][5]
