Madelyn was the daughter ofMarquess Hausen and wife of the last chieftain of theLorca tribe. Notably, she is the mother ofLyn.
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Pre-Game
Before the events ofFire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, Madelyn was born inCaelin toMarquess Hausen and his wife Lyndis. One day, she metHassar and the two fell deeply in love for one another.16 years before the start ofLyn's tale, the two left Caelin in the night in order to elope. They were briefly stopped byWallace, who was under orders from Hausen to bring back Madelyn. Both lovers tried to take blame for the event, hoping to help their other half escape punishment. It was that commitment to each other that made Wallace allow them to continue on their journey.
They returned to theLorca, where they eventually had a daughter,Lyndis. At some point, Madelyn's husband also became the tribe's chieftain.
Role
In Lyn's tale, Madelyn writes a letter to her father Hausen, informing him that she has a daughter. However, shortly after this letter would reach him, Madelyn, Hassar, and most of the Lorca were wiped out at the hands of theTaliver Bandits.
Personality
As Madelyn never actually appeared in-game, very little is known of her personality. She was apparently very committed to her love for her husband as Wallace speculates she might have taken her own life rather than be apart from him.[1]
