Materials (Japanese:素材Material) are a type of item inFire Emblem Warriors. Most are involved with the variouscrests, but two categories also exist that enhancespersonal weapons.
- The lists of obtainment methods may be incomplete.
Character materials
Materials in this category are obtained primarily by two methods, either as a drop from an enemy version of the depicted unit, or by the depicted unit achieving a C- or B-rank support with another character. Silver-rarity materials in this category are dropped more commonly by enemy versions of the depicted character, and are also obtained with C-rank supports; gold-rarity materials, on the other hand, are rarer drops by enemy versions of the depicted character, and are more often obtained via B-rank supports.
This type of material are notably the only ones that can be used to obtainskills, and may also be used to create other types of crests as well.

Materials in this category are obtained primarily as drops from generic enemy commanders, enemy captains, and non-playable bosses. In the case of commanders and captains, Bronze-rarity materials in this category are dropped more commonly than Silver-rarity materials; in the case of non-playable bosses, Silver-rarity materials are the more common drops, and Gold-rarity materials are the rarer drops.
