Lifetaker (Japanese:生命吸収Life Absorption) is a healingskill which debuted inFire Emblem Awakening. InAwakening andFates, it is a class skill associated with theDark Knight class which heals half of the user'sHP when they kill an enemyunit during their own turn of movement; inEchoes: Shadows of Valentia, it is a passive skill associated with theShadow Sword andDevil Axe with largely the same effect but without the own-phase restriction. InFire Emblem: Three Houses, it returns as a class skill unlocked through the class mastery of theDark Bishop, and now heals half of the damage dealt by the user when they defeat a target during their turn.
