Legion (Japanese:ローローRoro) was one ofEremiya's assassins. Perpetually wearing a mask which obscures his identity, he possessed a seemingly unique ability: to duplicate himself many times over and act as many entities at once. He refers to his clones as his "brothers", but their true nature is uncertain;Reese has implied that the clones were also raised at Eremiya's orphanage alongside herself and the true Legion.^[1]

Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem

Role

Legion assistedKatarina in her assassination attempt againstMarth, by infiltratingAltea Castle with a mob of assassins. He left the assassins under her command and merely observed the battle to judge Katarina's performance.^[2]

Later, afterLang's defeat, a clone of Legion led an ambush against Marth using a squad of hired mercenaries, includingCaesar andRadd. His efforts failed and the clone was killed, laughing as he died that the real Legion was still alive. Legion and a horde of his clones made another attempt on Marth's life while he was inKhadein, during which Marth's army successfully killed the true Legion and killed him for good. Afterwards, Eremiya hadClarisse destroy the remaining Legion clones, claiming them to be useless without the true Legion.^[3]

As with a number of other characters inNew Mystery of the Emblem, there is a unique weapon named for Legion available throughEveryone's Conditions:Legion's Axe.

Personality

Legion is a gleeful psychopath, loves combat and killing, and does not seem to particularly care about his clones dying. He habitually refers to everyone and everything, including himself for obvious reasons, in plural, and he has a distinct and easily recognizable laugh: "uwee-hee-hee". It is uncertain exactly how much of a personality his clones have, or if they mentally operate independently from the true Legion, though Eremiya's intent to dispose of them following the true Legion's death suggests that they depended on the true Legion to function to some extent.^[3]

Legion: Masked Maniac
This is Legion, the masked warrior! We've got a few mask-wearing Heroes in the Order of Heroes, but Legion is…especially unique.	He's a member of a group of assassins working in the shadows of Archanea, and together with his ally, Clarisse, he's carried out no small number of missions on the orders of their leader, Eremiya.	Legion also seems to be everywhere at once—if you see him in one place, you might see him in the middle of a fight somewhere else just moments later. Stranger still, he seems to keep coming back even after being defeated.	I tried to ask Legion about the secret of his curious powers, but he ran off before I could get a reply! I wonder where he went… Wait, is that him right behind you?!
