Analysis
| This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Inigo is a solid unit, mainly due to his ability to function basically no matter who his father is, as Olivia gives him everything he could want almost right out the gate. His solid bases and good growths in strength, skill, and speed are all universal, so the decision for father comes down almost just to skills.
Class-wise, his defaultHero is quite solid, giving him a stable combination of speed and 1–2 range. His extraBerserker gives him access toAxefaire, giving him a devastating power boost that he can use in pretty much any axe class.Warrior also warrants mention for trading some of Hero's speed for raw power. Inigo's base growths are good enough that he can fit into any physical class.
Robin can give Inigo up to a gargantuan 71% strength growth, but unless you go for a physical Robin this won't happen. Either way, Inigo getting access to every male class in the game gives him the ability to learn powerful skills likeLuna,Ignis, and all the Breaker skills. This gives him a large amount of flexibility. Unfortunately, this pairing is not optimal at all for a magicalMorgan due toOlivia passing on a quite terrible magic growth, potentially limiting this option.
Chrom is probably Inigo's best father, letting him keep his high skill, speed, and strength growths, while passing onRightful King. Chrom's class sets aren't that beneficial, but Luna is a good treat thanks to his high skill. The good thing about this pairing is thatLucina also loves Olivia as a mom, giving you two extremely potent offensive units in one pairing, both of whom can even getGaleforce. The only downside is Chrom cannot have a C-support or higher withSumia,Sully,Maribelle, or femaleRobin before Chapter 11 (unless they are already married to someone else), but the result is well worth it.
Frederick is very similar to Chrom, but provides lower speed and luck growths while instead passing higher HP and defense growths. Chrom does slightly edge out Frederick in the mod department with having a +3 speed mod, while Frederick gives a 0. The only direct edge Fredrick has over Chrom is hisWyvern Rider inheritance, giving Inigo another great combat class, and he can still get Luna with this pairing. However, there is one major benefit to this pairing that warrants consideration – opportunity cost. Frederick isn't a very good father in general, but Inigo is perfectly capable of absorbing his flaws and capitalizing on his strengths, leaving better fathers for children who need them more.
Virion is an interesting father, passing on incredibly high skill but doesn't pass on any trigger skills. This pairing is nice for a Sol tank Inigo, due to his great skill base and 65% growth. Crit builds would also appreciate this pairing, and Virion makes a great, great father for a Bow Knight Inigo, able to pass onBowfaire without having Inigo grind for it.
Stahl is the best father for aSol tank, thanks to passing onGreat Knight, high skill, and a good defense growth and promo gain in Great Knight. This is an unorthodox build, but a fast Sol tank could be valuable if you have speedy player phase units already, and want to use a slightly different build for Inigo.
Vaike andGaius are both great fathers growthwise and modwise, but unfortunately, Vaike and Gaius's class inheritance's severely overlap with Inigo's base class sets, with the only new classes beingFighter,Thief, andTrickster. Out of the few new skills Inigo can have,Acrobat orMovement +1 are the only ones worth picking up (Inigo himself will most likely have to grind for them if Vaike is his father since he is poor in the thief classes, but Gaius can easily pass them). Vaike and Gaius's growths could make these pairings work, but the lack of good new skills hampers their usefulness. In addition, Gaius' ability to pass down Pegasus Knight and Galeforce is wasted on a son, making this particular pairing unappealing.
Kellam passes on nothing of use, sadly. His speed growth drops in exchange for higher defense, skill, and strength, but his speed base drops by almost 3 points compared to most other fathers. Combo this with the only useful skill worth passing on being Luna, Movement +1, or Acrobat, Kellam is a sub-par option.
Lon'qu turns Inigo into a GBA sword unit, with an absurd 68% skill and 66% speed, with a still good enough 55% strength. Like Vaike and Gaius, their classes do overlap, butWyvern Lord as a second class is great. Not only that, but Lon'qu could potentially grab Swordfaire if you favor him, and could easily have Astra, giving Inigo multiple options for skills while staying as a sword-fighting class. Lon'qu could be argued as his best father for these reasons.
Ricken andHenry are both the main magical options for Inigo. Ricken passes overall worse growths and mods than Henry except for his much better luck growth and +2 luck mod compared to Henry's −1. Skillwise, Ricken passes on only Luna,Hit +20, or Bowfaire as good skills, which Inigo will have to grind for due to Ricken's poor strength, and gives him no classes that other, better, units wouldn't give him. Henry can passVengeance orTomebreaker as his most powerful skills.Dark Knight Inigo with these pairings is incredibly niche, though Ricken does beat Henry with this build since he is able to passTomefaire. However, generally they don't make the best of fathers unless the player puts in a lot of investment to make it work.
Gregor gives no skills Inigo wouldn't have access to by default, and doesn't have good enough growths to make it worth it. Potentially, this could be a good pairing, due to him gaining a high HP skill growth partnered with an okay defense growth as a Sol tank, but this is not a pairing you should seek out.
Libra brings very little to the table outside of one specific build. Inigo could getRally Luck andMagic from Libra or his inherited class sets,Speed orMovement from Olivia, andStrength andSkill from his starting class sets, giving him great use as a rally bot. If you aren't planning for this, Libra should be avoided due to his poor growths.
Donnel, obviously, passes onAptitude, but also brings solid growths overall in other departments. The fact that Donnel only passes onVillager and Fighter for classes doesn't actually matter nearly as much, as Donnel best utility is just passing Aptitude. Aptitude could be used on a different child (namely Morgan if you want to go for that), but Inigo is a good candidate for it. However, like Gaius, Inigo wastes Donnel's very powerful Pegasus Knight inheritance.

Analysis
| This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Laslow starts off at level 12 in Conquest and joins in Chapter 12, and level 16 in Revelations and joins in Chapter 17. Regardless of his join time, he will be a Mercenary with C in Swords and also comes with the skillsGood Fortune andStrong Riposte, his personal skillFancy Footwork lets him give allies in a 2-tile radius +1 Strength and +1 Speed for a single turn, which can be useful to reach certain benchmarks, this can also stack with Rally skills that Laslow can acquire. He has good growths in HP, Strength, Skill and Luck, middling growths in Speed and Defense and low Resistance, which is overall quite balanced.
Since he starts in theMercenary class line above level 10, he can promote to eitherBow Knight orHero, Bow Knight lets him use Bows and can give him access to the skillsRally Skill andShurikenbreaker, which are both great skills to have on Laslow. If you choose to promote him to Hero, he gets access to Axes while also gaining the skillsSol andAxebreaker, both of which are very useful for his combat since, for the former, there are not only plenty of Axe wielding units but, for the latter, he also has high skill which increases his odds of activating Sol and healing himself up as a result.
Laslow also has access to theNinja class line, which is also generally considered to be a good option, especially in Conquest due to the lack of Ninjas besides Kaze, and it also slightly increases his Speed and Resistance at the cost of a bit of Defense (unless you go withMechanist who drops a bit of speed instead), not to mentionMaster Ninja can also let Laslow keep using Swords along with Shurikens/Daggers. As for skills it provides, Ninja providesLocktouch andPoison Strike, both of which are overall useful skills for Laslow, Mechanist providesGolembane andReplicate, and Master Ninja provides Lethality and Shurikenfaire.
As for S support classes Laslow could access, he can marry eitherAzura orSelena for theSky Knight line, which can be useful since it’s more focused on Speed and gives LaslowRally Speed to work with.Effie gives Laslow the Knight line and it can be nice to have it’s skills likeNatural Cover andArmored Blow, not to mention if he choosesGreat Knight Laslow can keep using Swords.Camilla provides theWyvern Rider line which is generally good since it provides useful skills likeRally Defense andTrample and it can also help with his Speed.Beruka also provides the Wyvern Line but she also has theFighter line, with useful skills likeRally Strength,Sol andHP +5.Peri has theCavalier line with it’s skills likeElbow Room,Shelter andArmored Blow, while Great Knight also makes his Defense better whilePaladin improves his Resistance.Charlotte provides theFighter line and theTroubadour line, both can provideRally Strength andRally Resistance respectively, though it’s probably best to stick to one of Laslow’s original classes due to using different weapons and/or using the Magic stat, which is low on Laslow. In Revelation specifically,Hana can give Laslow theSamurai line, which sticks to Swords and slightly increases his speed while giving him skills such asDuelist’s Blow,Swordfaire,Life and Death andAstra.
One build you can consider for Laslow is a rallybot build, focusing on using rallies to benefit his allies, what also helps is that his personal skillFancy Footwork provides allies, in range, +1 Strength and +1 Speed on it's own, but it can also stack withRally Strength (assuming you can get an A+ support with Keaton forBerserker) andRally Speed (from an S support with either Selena or Azura) and give +5 Strength and +5 Speed to his allies, he also naturally has access toRally Skill fromBow Knight. He can also access other classes for more rallies likeRally Defense fromWyvern Lord, while there are other rallies he can pick up likeRally Magic fromOnmyoji,Rally Luck fromMonk andRally Resistance from Strategist, to get them Laslow has to go with unoptimal pairings and go through a Magic class, which will also make it harder to level up due to his very low Magic growth, so generally they aren't considered to be great options.

| Inigo first came to the Halidom of Ylisse from the future, and now he's made his way to the spring festival! In case you didn't know, he's the son of the traveling dancer Olivia. | Some of the more eye-catching details of his outfit are the carrot-themed arrows and shoulder guard. Gosh, even his earrings match the carrot motif! The bright orange color really pops against those black bunny ears. | Inigo dreams of being a great dancer like his mom one day. I wonder if we'll get to see him do a special bunny dance for the festival? | He also inherited Olivia's shyness, and I can see he looks a little embarrassed by his outfit. But I'm sure nobody's going to make fun of him—it's a festival, after all, and we're here to have a good time! | ||||||||||

| Inigo came from the future world of Ylisse. He's the son of Olivia, the Shepherds' star dancer, and his friendly personality makes him beloved by everyone! | That said, it's the ladies who get all of his attention... Apparently, that was how he learned to overcome his natural shyness. Looks like it worked! | Anyway, Inigo has a secret: he wants to be a dancer! He's been practicing his moves in secret every night—turns out he's still shy about some things after all. | In fact, Olivia taught Inigo a thing or two about dancing in the future world of Ylisse. I can't wait for the day that they dance together again! | ||||||||||

| Here's Laslow, the mercenary with an irresistable smile! He serves under Prince Xander of Nohr, working alongside Peri, another of Xander's retainers. | Laslow is cheerful and outgoing, and he can make friends with just about anyone. Although I've noticed that it's mainly the women at the castle that he goes out of his way to befriend... | Unusually for a royal retainer, Laslow is not of Nohrian origin. In fact, he isn't even of the same world as Xander! He's actually Inigo, a Hero from Ylisse who crossed between worlds to come to Nohr! | I did think he looked a lot like Inigo, but I didn't realize it actually was him at first! Well, it looks like he's proved himself in more worlds than one, so I'm grateful to have him on our side! | ||||||||||

Trivia
- As with the other children characters ofAwakening, Inigo's birthday matches the Japanese release date of aFire Emblem series game: August 7th was the release date ofFire Emblem: Shadow Dragon in 2008.
- If Chrom is Inigo's father, Inigo will have the Mark of Naga in his right eye.[1]
- In the Japanese script ofAwakening, a Chrom-fathered Inigo addresses Lucina asnee-san (姉さん "elder sister").[2] Otherwise, if Chrom is not his father, Inigo uses the casual pronounkimi (君) for her.[3] In the Japanese script ofamiibo Lucina's stage inFates, Laslow also useskimi when addressing her,[4] suggesting that Chrom is not Inigo's father inFates.
