Story

After Lapis was summoned toAskr, she was sent on a mission for theOrder of Heroes alongsideDiamant,Alcryst, andCitrinne. Due to the absence ofAmber andJade, she and Citrinne decided to take it upon themselves to serve as protectors to Diamant as well.^[1] The four of them met up withRoy, initially confusing him for hisEmblem counterpart,^[2] as well asEliwood, joining forces with them to dispatch of their enemies and making it back to the Order of Heroes headquarters before dinnertime.

When pulling weeds from a garden to use for additional rations, she was spotted byFrederick, who mistakenly believed her to clear the garden to protect Alcryst from tripping over them.^[3] Later, as she was gathering loose material for a crafting protect, Frederick spotted her once more and praised her for her diligence in clearing out potential danger—unable to accept unwarranted praise, Lapis came clean to him and admitted the true reasons behind her actions.^[4] Wishing to apologize for the misunderstanding, Lapis brought him bear steaks she prepared;^[5] despite his aversion to the meal, Frederick attempted to eat it, collapsing in the process.^[6] When the two later reconsiled, Frederick brought up Lapis's craftsmanship and asked her to build a banner inChrom's glory.^[7] Lapis agreed, deciding to build banners of Prince Alcryst as well and, at Frederick's suggestion, making them match to show solidarity between their two countries.^[8]

Story

Lapis participated in the the annual bridal festival alongsideAlcryst andNel. Despite their mutual dismay at wearing bridal attires, Lapis encouraged her friends to show themselves off, believing them to have been given a rare opportunity to do so.^[9] After a fight, Alcryst apologized to his two companions for being unworthy of being in their pretty presence—Lapis, flustered that Alcryst called her pretty, attempted to rationalize it away by claiming he must have been referring to the prettiness of her dress.^[10] Despite this, she continued to be giddy over the compliment, stating she wouldn't be against wearing the dress forever. In response, Nel informed her that the bridal attires would be impossible to take off even if they wanted, to which Alcryst declared he would remind them of their beauty forever, in sickness and in health.^[11]

Let me introduce you to Lapis! She's a royal knight of Brodia, a kingdom in Elyos. Don't let her cute appearance fool you—she's an incredibly strong Hero!	Lapis says her upbringing was totally ordinary. Wherever she grew up, though, she certainly learned a lot. She can tell you if any plant is edible at a glance, and she can build almost anything!	Apparently she came to join the royal knights after entering a tournament held by the royal family. She only signed up to earn some money, but she ended up winning the whole thing!	Now she serves as a retainer to Alcryst. I've heard her strong and down-to-earth personality make her a great source of strength for Brodia's more pensive prince!

Here's Lapis, retainer to Alcryst, the second prince of Brodia! She's joining us for the bridal festival, wearing a beautiful dress!	Here's Lapis's dress, which features a rose motif. That scarlet-red sash makes for a bold contrast with the sheer veil and skirt she's wearing!	In her hand, she's wielding a sword with a rose-and-ribbon design. Lapis is no slouch when it comes to swordplay, so I bet she'll be able to slice any wedding cake in two, no matter how oversized it is! Lapis is a royal knight of Brodia, and she's here at the beach wearing a handmade swimsuit—sorry, I mean maritime combat attire! Anyway, she's been working hard at catching fish, harpoon in hand.	This...combat attire features a vibrant red-and-white color scheme, as well as a hat with a decorative sunflower and a sheer jacket!	Meanwhile, the metal bucket slung from her shoulder is filled with the fish she's caught and a few other sea creatures too. Looks like great fishing today!
