Ladyblade
| ||||
|
TheLadyblade (Japanese:レディソードLady Sword) is asword which was introduced inFire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. It is designed specifically for use by female units. It is usable only by women inMystery and its remake,New Mystery of the Emblem, and while any sword-wielding unit is able to use it inEchoes: Shadows of Valentia, it has only half of its potentialmight if a man uses it.
For women, the Ladyblade is a consistently good option at any point in the games, having great power, accuracy, and weight, and only requiring the minimum proficiency in swords to wield. Certain games give it additional useful effects, such as itseffectiveness againstThieves,Brigands,Pirates, andBarbarians inMystery of the Emblem, and its combat arts inShadows of Valentia that allow its user to launch attacks withmagic andbrave effects.
