TheKriemhild (Japanese:クリムヒルドKriemhild) is alance which was introduced inFire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is wielded byBerkut in his appearance as a boss inAct 5. It has the longestrange of any lance in the game, which combined with its respectablemight and goodhit makes approaching Berkut to attack a dangerous prospect. It also gives him strong defensive abilities by providing both boosts to his defensive stats and thePhantasm skill, which reduces the damage he takes frombows andblack magic: the only weapon types which can attack him from a far enough distance that he cannot counterattack.

Kriemhild is present as a skill on one of Berkut's cards inFire Emblem Cipher:B09-046R Delusions of Conquest, Berkut. It is a manual-activation skill which, for a cost of discarding one untapped ally unit in play, grants Berkut +10 attack and 1-3 range until the opponent's next turn ends.
Trivia
- Kriemhild's design may be intended to be a corrupted version ofDuma's Lance; both weapons feature a claw-like tri-pronged head, spikes resembling Duma's horns at the base of the head, and a red centerpiece: a gem on Duma's Lance and a red eye on Kriemhild.
- A sword known asGrimhild appears inTearRing Saga Series: Berwick Saga, although the katakana spelling is different.
