Kenneth (Japanese:ケネスKenneth) is aBlack Fang commander hired to guard an ancient castle, and one of two potential bosses of Chapter 25 (Ch.27H) ofFire Emblem: The Blazing Blade;Kenneth is the boss should the player's possibleGuiding Ring users be stronger than the player's potentialHero Crest users. Kenneth and his squad are deployed in an effort to stallEliwood,Hector,Lyn, and their army for time in an effort to ensure PrinceZephiel's assassination goes off without a hitch as well as protect the stolenFire Emblem, but ultimately fails and is defeated. Regardless of whether he is even fought by the player, Kenneth dies some time after the player army embarks toward Zephiel's side, and hisquintessence is harvested offscreen.

Kenneth is one of the bosses remanifested asmorphs byNergal in theFinal Chapter; his morph is paired with a genericSage morph and a genericDruid morph, the latter of which dropsGespenst, in the northwestern room, the second one opened; the player's army eventually defeat Kenneth's morph as well as all of the other remanifested morphs in their quest to defeat Nergal.
