TheIron Shield (Japanese:鉄の盾Iron Shield) is an accessoryitem in the shield category ofequipment that debuted inFire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is the second member of the standard line of shields, superior to theLeather Shield but inferior to theSteel andSilver Shields, and gives a modest boost of 4 points ofdefense inEchoes: Shadows of Valentia and a small boost of 2 points toprotection inFire Emblem: Three Houses to units who equip it. It also teaches theShove combat art inShadows of Valentia, allowing its users to push allies.
