Innes' Bow (Japanese:ヒーニアスの的弓Heanius's Precise Bow) is a uniquebow introduced inFire Emblem Awakening. It is one of a number of weapons named for characters from earlierFire Emblem series installments, deriving its name fromInnes ofFire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It is characterised primarily by its excellent accuracy, having the highesthit of any weapon inAwakening.

Trivia

  • Unusually, the bowdenotes Innes's possession of it using only an apostrophe (as inInnes' Bow) rather than an apostrophe and the letter S (as inInnes's Bow). Although this is considered grammatically acceptable when indicating the possessive for nouns already ending with the letter S, of which "Innes" is one, it is uncommon in official English translations of theFire Emblem series, including the rest ofAwakening. Other cases of possessive nouns in this situation take the opposite approach (see:Ninis's Grace,Metis's Tome,Kris's Confect), so odds favor "Innes's Bow" being the correct name of this weapon.
