Hyman (Japanese:ハイマンHiman; PAL:Reynard) is the leader of theSamsooth Sires of the Ghoul's Teeth and the boss ofChapter 3 ofFire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and its remakes,Mystery of the Emblem Book 1 andShadow Dragon. Hyman and his band, known as the Soothsires for short, stand betweenMarth's army andAurelis, and are not only eventually defeated, but leave behind a considerablegold stash.

Personality
Owing to his lack of dialogue, little can be seen of Hyman's personality, but he appears to be a ruthless bandit without any tolerance for those that try to leave the Soothsires.
In the anime, Hyman can be friendly and accommodating to competent subordinates likeNavarre. He is also seen to enjoy betting onArena battles. Hyman was enraged and confused when Navarre left his forces.
