Hoshidan Prince (Japanese:白夜の王子White Night Prince) is the seventh chapter ofFire Emblem Warriors. During this chapter,Rowan suddenly falls ill, forcing the group to gather herbs to cure him while fending off a misunderstoodTakumi.

Plot

AsRowan tells the group they need to findHinoka andSakura'sbrothers,Lucina notices that he doesn't appear to be feeling well. Sakura recognizes his symptoms as that of a deadly illness, and one that can prove fatal if left untreated.Robin starts to suggest heading somewhere for treatment when Sakura injects she seen some herbs back at the forts that could possibly cure Rowan. Hinoka agrees with her sister and immediately offers her help as an apology for herearlier misunderstanding. Meanwhile,Oboro is reporting toTakumi how she doesn't recognize the fashion of the people ofthis world, leaving both to wonder just where they are. A soldier arrives informing Takumi that his sisters had apparently been captured, leading Takumi to mobilize his forces to rescue them.

During the battle, the group seizes as many forts as quickly as they can, collecting herbs as they go. Rowan, who is sitting out of the battle, repeatedly apologizes for all the trouble he's putting them through. They eventually confront and defeat Takumi, who is confused as to why his sisters are apparently fighting for the enemy.

After the battle, Sakura is successfully able to create a medicine using the herbs, reducing Rowan's symptoms and saving his life.Chrom and Robin both thank Sakura for her help, to which she response it's only natural for her to do so. Hinoka adds that her sister is known for her medical skills, while Sakura in turn praises the former's strength. Chrom comments on the closeness of the sisters, to which Hinoka asks if he has siblings. Chrom tells them he hastwosisters but he and Lucina add that they don't need to be so formal with them, to which theHoshidan sisters agree to.

Somewhere nearby,Frederick explains the situation to Takumi, who understands but asks why he is tied up. Oboro arrives and unties Takumi, telling him that he was the only one tied up. Frederick elaborates that Takumi's behavior led to the decision to tie him up as the others didn't feel safe otherwise, much to Takumi's frustration. However, seeing as how his sisters joined the group, both Takumi and Oboro decides to join them.

Summary

Rowan collapses with a high fever just moments after clearing up Hinoka's confusion. His friends rush to save him, but a familiar face stands in their way.

  • ASamurai will appear east of E Butte Fort. They will head to S Wastes Fort for reinforcements.
• If you fail the mission "Defeat the Samurai to prevent reinforcements!"

Strategy

Unlike other story missions, you only have 20 minutes to clear this one. A timer will appear when you have five minutes left. In addition, you get Sakura and Hinoka. Sakura is your first bow wielder. She shreds enemy fliers, but otherwise relies on her fully charged Strong I for critical hits. Like Robin, she needs the player's direct hand to do well. Hinoka is a clone of Cordelia with a personal weapon. She's the best Pegasus/Sky Knight in the game without DLC.

Send Chrom and Lucina east to fight the Oni Savages, Hinoka southwest to fight the Samurai, and Sakura and Frederick east to fight the Sky Knights. The first problem comes from the Samurai who wants to summon reinforcements - if Hinoka can spare some time to kill him, great. Prioritize taking the forts. Oboro is problematically bulky - have Frederick take her out. This unlocks the north half of the map. Sky Knights attempt to summon more reinforcements, but they're Sakura food. Grab the chest, take the northern forts, and take out Takumi. If you proceed at a decent clip, you should have plenty of time to rout the map.

Trivia

• This is the only story chapter inFire Emblem Warriors that does not force deploy Rowan or Lianna regardless of which one the player chose.
