Hit
- Not to be confused with the actual calculatedhit rate.
Hit (Japanese:命中Hit) is a stat applied to weapons in theFire Emblem series, roughly analogious to aunit'sskill stat. It acts as a base measure of accuracy inherent to weapons, and is used as a core part of calculating a unit's accuracy, orhit rate, with a given weapon in battle.
Of theweapon triangle andTrinity of Magic,swords,wind magic andlight magic are traditionally associated with possessing the highest hit of their respective weapon groups, and thus the greatest raw accuracy; in compensation, they tend toward possessing lowermight.

Trivia
- The weapon with the greatest raw hit in the entire series is theOnager, with 255 hit inPath of Radiance andRadiant Dawn. The weapons with the next-highest hit are theTrainer andPractice Axe inPath of Radiance, both of which have 150 hit (105 points behind the Onager).
- Luna inGaiden is unable to miss (even granting this effect to units holding Luna who cannot equip it), and inEchoes: Shadows of Valentia,Lunar Flash, acombat art tied to Luna, grants 500 hit.
