Hestia (Japanese:ヘステHeste) is awitch inFire Emblem Gaiden andFire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. She is one ofJedah's daughters and one ofSonya's older sisters.^[1] She is also a follower ofDuma.

Hestia is fought twice throughout the game,Alm fights her inAct 4 on the way toRigel castle, Hestia guards the river crossing. The second time she is fought byCelica and Alm is in thefinal Act in the basement of theDuma Tower alongside her sister and father.

Unlike her sisters and father, Hestia does not have a single line of dialogue in the entire game.

Personality

While Hestia has no dialogue in the original, she is given dialogue in the remake.

Prior to being sacrificed to Duma, she lived in a priory with her two sisters. She is described as having been smart, mature, and having "marched to her own beat" by Sonya.^[2]

In her first encounter, she does not understand why anyone would oppose Duma. However, in her second encounter in Duma's Altar, she regrets not having lived life as she pleased like her sisterSonya.

Hestia is a witch who serves the Duma Faithful of northern Valentia. She's feared for her power and cruelty.	She was born the second daughter of the Duma Faithful's high priest, but both she and her older sister, Marla, were sacrificed to the Fell God by their father…	Hestia was then reborn as a heartless witch. But sometimes the way she speaks suggests she might be harboring some complicated feelings.	The impassive look on her face never changes, but to me it seems like she's dealing with a lot of sorrow and regret. I wish there were some way to restore her humanity or set her free.
