TheHero Crest (Japanese:ゆうしゃのあかしHero's Proof or英雄の証Hero's Proof) is one of severalpromotionitems in theFire Emblem series.
In the originalArchanea games, it was used to promotemercenaries toheroes. Its use was later extended in the GBA games tomyrmidons andfighters, and, inThe Binding Blade, topirates andbrigands. In the remakes of the Archanea games, Shadow Dragon andNew Mystery of the Emblem, it was replaced by theMaster Seal. The hero crest is available in five games:Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light,Mystery of the Emblem,The Binding Blade,The Blazing Blade, andThe Sacred Stones.
