TheGuardian Golem (Japanese:守護ゴーレムProtection golem) is amonsterclass which debuted in theFire Emblem: Three Houses expansionCindered Shadows. It is a heavily armored mechanical figure that seems to have been created by theChurch of Seiros, built for the purpose of protecting theChalice of Beginnings. It acts as an even stronger successor to theGolem andAltered Golem, appearing exclusively in the downloadableCindered Shadows Chapter 4.

Though the Guardian Golem lacks proper programmed stats, they tend to be defensively strong, having highdefense as well as three largehealth bars. Unlike most monsters, the Guardian Golem attacks usinglances, which are made of powerfulmagic. Their offenses are devastatingly strong, with exceedingly high magic anddexterity that ensure they hit hard and accurately. Their latent abilities make them even more dangerous, withLethality giving them a high chance of instantly killing any target, andQuick Riposte denying enemy follow-up attacks while granting them one. Though theirresistance is lacking, theirbarrier ability,Anti-Magic Armor, provides them protection against magic attacks.

Overall, its overwhelming power and strong defenses render it more of an obstacle to be avoided at all costs, rather than an opponent to be fought head-on. However, they have lowspeed andmovement, and, like most monsters in the game, their large size prevents them from moving through one-space-wide areas, further limiting their mobility; this gives players more of a chance to avoid it properly.
