Great Aether (Japanese:覇克・天空Lord subdue · sky) is askill which debuted inFire Emblem Engage. It is EmblemIke'sengage attack, and can only be used once per engaged state. When activated, the user receivesdefense andresistance bonuses, but cannot counterattack until the next turn; after one turn, the user attacks a nearby area with asword oraxe. As an engage attack, it can have additional effects depending on the unit type of the user.
