Grandmaster Robin (Japanese:神軍師ルフレGrandmaster Reflet) is a Hero Battle inFire Emblem Fates, activated by scanning theRobinamiibo for the third time. It pits the player against Robin and some units, known as "Illusions", described as the shades offormer soldiers, who represent the starting party ofFire Emblem Awakening. It takes place on the map ofChapter 6.

Jakob is only a returning character if Corrin is female; if Corrin is male, thenFelicia is a returning character instead. As a bonus chapter, there is no set timeframe in which the chapter must be taken on; thus, it is possible to have recruited more characters than the above by the point the chapter is started.

It is recommended to attempt this chapter around the time your own units promote. Beware of theHexing Rod, as it will make it easy for the remaining enemies to finish your unit off. It can be worth it to deploy a unit with highresistance for the sole purpose of baiting out the Hexing Rod. Deploying a unit who either dealsmagic damage orbonus damage to theGreat Knight will also prove useful to isolateRobin. When facing Robin, remember that hisThoron tome grants him a minor boost to hiscritical hit rate, potentially allowing him to one-shot one of your units.
It should be noted that when you are asked if you want to recruit Robin, the default option is 'No'. If you wish to recruit him, be careful if you mash through the dialogue.
