Georg (Japanese:ゲオルクGeorg) was the lingering spirit of a warrior once in the service ofRoland of theEight Legends. Tasked with the defense ofDurandal in its shrine in anOstian cavern, he resolutely continued this task even after the death of his mortal body, defending it as a ghost for 980 years. His defense was only broken with the arrival ofEliwood who, under the advice ofAthos, came to collect Durandal for use against Nergal. As part of a test of Eliwood's strength, Athos set him against the ghostly guardians, and Eliwood proved victorious over them and Georg.
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Role
Georg is the boss ofChapter 28 of Eliwood's tale. The map's goal is to have Eliwood wait on the space occupied by Georg; as Georg actually moves off the space to attack units in his range, it is technically possible to complete the map without even fighting him.

Trivia
- Georg's portrait was recolored for use asKaim, who fills the equivalent role inthe equivalent chapter of Hector's tale, except as the guardian ofArmads in theWestern Isles. The two have classes which are an inversion of the weapons they guard – Georg is a Berserker (axe) guarding Durandal (sword), while Kaim is aHero (sword, though in practice he uses axes), guarding Armads (axe).
