Gazzak (Japanese:ガザックGazak) is a member of a band of pirates operating inGalder Harbor. During theWar of Shadows, he led a group of the pirates to invadeTalys and its castle, storming the gates, cutting down everyone in their path and kidnapping its kingMostyn; these actions led to PrinceMarth ofAltea departing to fight against Gazzak's forces, reach Gazzak's stronghold and defeat him.

Gazzak is a boss inFire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and its remakes. He is notable for being the very first boss in the history of theFire Emblem series.

Personality

As a minor boss, Gazzak is not very developed, but his dialogue shows him as boastful on the field of battle and disdainful of Altea's remnant forces.

In the anime, Gazzak is shown as willing to take hostages to gain the advantage.
