Galle (pronounced /ɡɑl/[key][2]; Japanese:ゲイルGalle) is one ofMurdock's subordinates and a major enemy ofChapter 21 ofFire Emblem: The Binding Blade. Despite being a talented knight, his deserved promotion toWyvern General was delayed due to his foreign birth; regardless, Murdock andZephiel treat Galle as a powerful and trustworthy ally.

Role

Galle can be unlocked for usage on thetrial maps should the player beat the game from beginning to end twice.
Galle captains a group of late-stage reinforcements duringChapter 21, appearing once one of the player's units ends their turn near theShrine of Seals. Galle specifically targetsRoy, but only if Roy is present on the map. If Roy is being rescued, Galle targets the closest playable unit and attacks. If Roy is on the map but out of Galle's reach, Galle moves towards the nearest unit, but does not attack.
During this appearance, he has optionaltalk conversations withMelady andZeiss, though neither conversation changes his behavior in battle. Additionally, his wyvern riders only attack when Roy is within Galle's range at the beginning of their movement. Otherwise, they seek out the nearest unit without attacking. When Galle is defeated, the wyvern riders attack as normal.

Analysis
| This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Galle is very good in Trial Maps on the virtue of being a flyer. His stats are great, except hisspeed andluck are a little lower, withskill being slightly better. Hisresistance is good considering the Wyvern Lord class has lower resistance growths.
He does not come with any notable weapons in his inventory, but his weapon ranks are great. He has an A rank in both swords and lances, meaning he can use any weapon exceptDurandal andMaltet.

Personality

Galle is loyal to Bern, not joining Roy's side to be with Melady, his love. He also is not swayed when Zeiss asks him to join him, even scolding Zeiss for his childish reasoning, stating that must fight anyone in the way of the path he had chosen.

- Galle's growth rates go unused inThe Binding Blade due to units not being able to gain experience in Trial Maps.
