Freyja (Japanese:フレイヤFreyja) is a character appearing inFire Emblem Heroes. She oversees the realm ofDökkálfheimr, and isTriandra andPlumeria's superior, as well as the main antagonist of Book IV.

Before making her first of her numerous appearances as an enemy during the Book IV storyline, Freyja was mentioned twice inBook IV, Chapter 2 byTriandra, with very little about Freyja herself being discernable from these mentions apart from presumably being Triandra's andPlumeria's superior.

There are two different playable variations of Freyja available toHeroes, both of which are tied to her storyline appearance inHeroes. The standard version of Freyja became playable as the game's sixteenth Mythic Hero, and as such became playable in a dedicated Mythic Hero update, and was made available for summoning as part of a summoning event released on November 27, 2020. Freyja became playable alongsideTriandra, a departure from typical Mythic Hero practice; she is considered the sixteenth Mythic Hero due to being revealed after Triandra in their shared reveal trailer. A summer-themed variation of Freyja was made available between July 7, 2021 through August 7, 2021 as part of the summoning event accompanying theSummer's Dream update.

Freyja: Parallel Hearts, aDuo Hero withEitr, was first made available from October 7, 2025 – November 5, 2025 as part of theAltered Future summoning event. They were the first Heroes to come withComet. Their personal weapon is theNightmare Staff, and their personal skill isHaunting Choker.

Freyja and Eitr are fought duringParalogue 116, inPart 1 andPart 3. They feature in theTactics Drills once, used duringSkill Studies 289. They also featured in theVoting Gauntlet beginning on October 31, 2025,Trick or Beast!, where they lost in Round 1 toNerþuz: Divine Abundance.
