TheFlux (Japanese:ミィルMir) tome is a relatively commondark spell in theFire Emblem series. It consists on invoking dark energy, which then engulfs the enemy. In the games where it has appeared, it is the most basic spell for users of dark magic, such asShamans andDark Mage.
The flux tome is available inThe Binding Blade,The Blazing Blade,The Sacred Stones,Awakening, andHeroes.

Trivia
- Flux is the first dark magic tome to bear both the D and Eweapon levels (inThe Binding Blade andAwakening respectively). By extension, Flux is the only dark magic tome in the series to have never had a weapon level of C or higher.
- Internal data in the Game Boy Advance games refers to Flux as "Mistyrain", this is possibly an early name of the spell.[1]
