Flickering Flower (Japanese:閃花Flash flower) is acombat art which debuted inFire Emblem: Three Houses. It is learned by achieving class mastery of theEmperor; as that class is exclusive toEdelgard, this combat art by extension is as well. It grants increasedmight,hit rate, andavoidance, while also inflictingfrozen status on its target, halting its movement for a single turn after combat.

InFire Emblem Engage, Flickering Flower appears as a skill, and is acquired by equipping Edelgard's S-rankBond Ring. It still inflicts the frozen status, but unlike its combat art incarnation, it does not boost any of the user's stats and is not activated on command. Instead, it is now a triggered skill that can activate any time the user initiates combat, with the chance being based on how much damage the user deals.
