Fire Emblem Engage

TheFlame Cannon (Japanese:火炎砲台Flame battery) is aballista-likespecial weapon that appears inFire Emblem Engage. They are found stationed as objects on certain maps, and can be used by any unit belonging to any army. Flame Cannons are fixed to a specific tile and cannot be moved. Once the Flame Cannon'sdurability reaches 0, the map object does not disappear, but is unable to attack owing to its lack of ammunition.

The Flame Cannon has the ability to hit more than one target at once, inflicting physical damage across multiple tiles within a 2-tile radius of its target. Its blasts will hit any unit regardless of their affiliation, and can even be used to attack areas that have no units in them whatsoever. In addition to this, a blast from a Flame Cannon will also set the targeted area onfire for one turn, making it both deal more damage over time, as well as restricting the movement of units nearby it.
