TheFirst Blood (Japanese:神祖竜の血Divine Ancestral Dragon's Blood) is anitem that debuted inFire Emblem Fates through thedownloadable content episodeHidden Truths 2. When consumed, this item gives any unit the ability to useDragon Veins.
History
The ability to access Dragon Veins stems from possessing the bloodline of the ancientFirst Dragons, who once empowered humans with drops of their own blood.[1] The First Blood item is a sample of the blood ofAnankos, which gives this power to those who drink the blood. InHidden Truths 2, Anankos provided his blood toOdin,Selena, andLaslow to allow them to temporarily use Dragon Veins to fight off an ambush from Vallite forces while they were inValla.[2]
