Fire (Japanese:ファイアーFire) is a basicfiretome, which was introduced inFire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and appears in all games in theFire Emblem series. It is a spell which hurls a ball of flame at its user's foe.
Fire is always the most basic tome of its kind, usable by almost anyMage without any need for moreexperience. In games which feature the three separate schools ofanima magic, it is the first "stage" in the hierarchy of fire magic and the counterpart of theThunder andWind tomes, and is surpassed by the more powerful and advancedElfire,Arcfire andBolganone. In games featuring anima magic or tomes in general only as a generalized weapon level, it is the weakest and lowest-leveled tome available, and inFire Emblem Gaiden and its remake,Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, it is the basicblack magic spell available by default to allMages and other classes with access to black magic.
