Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

TheFang (Japanese:Fang) is astrike appearing exclusively inFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. It is the means of attack forwolves, tigers, andlions outside of royalty. Royal wolves and lions have access to theGreat Fang instead. Only the tigers and lions ofRadiant Dawn wield fangs; tigers and lions inPath of Radiance wieldclaws instead. Wielders of Fangs can make them stronger over time thanks toRadiant Dawn's inclusion of aweapon level for strikes.

Trivia

  • The Fang is tied with theRadiant Dawn version ofBreath with the most variations of a weapon in a single game than any other weapon wieldable by the player in theFire Emblem series, with nine variations total for the Fang (the Breath has twelve variations programmed, but onlyten are used) and eight variationswieldable by the player; the human weapon that makes the closest approach is theYato ofFates, with seven. They are, however, beaten byRadiant Dawn'sJudge and theEchoes: Shadows of Valentia version ofConjure in the overall department, thirteen variations programmed each, Judge having eleven variations used, andShadows of Valentia Conjure known to have ten variations used.
