TheEmperor is a class appearingFire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem,Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War,Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, andFire Emblem: Three Houses and as an unused class inFire Emblem: Thracia 776. In all of its appearances, it is a highly rare class with very few users:Hardin ofMystery of the Emblem and its remake,Arvis and Zeus (the arena champion of theEndgame) inGenealogy of the Holy War, andEdelgard inThree Houses. Hardin is only capable of wieldinglances, Arvis and Zeus are capable of using all weapon types exceptlight anddark magic, and Edelgard is most proficient at wielding axes, although she can use different weapon types as well. These characters appear as extremely strong end-game classes, as emperors of evil or rebellious kingdoms typically tend to be an antagonistic force throughout a large part ofFire Emblem plotlines. As such, emperors generally have very high stats in all areas exceptLuck.
The existence of unused data for the Emperor class inThracia 776 may indicate that Arvis was planned to have been included in the game, which takes place in the middle ofGenealogy of the Holy War.
