Embla plays the main antagonistic role in Book VI, primarily by possessing the royalty of her namesake country.

Embla would later be made available to summon as the game's twenty-ninth Mythic Hero, and was added to the game in a dedicated Mythic Hero update, as part of a summoning event released on November 30, 2022. A bride variation of Embla was added on May 20, 2024, and was first available to summon from then to June 19, 2024.

The curse of her blood has possessed the Emblian imperial family, and none of her descendants can defy her. Having made them her puppets, she's now obsessively hunting down the Askran royal family!	I have to admit that the way she laughs is a bit cute… But it's just not right for her to go around controlling Veronica and her family like this! Askr: Renewed Gods
Askr and Embla are the Divine Dragons who created the realms that share their names. They may have had their differences in the past, but now they've come to join us in celebrating the New Year—and while wearing absolutely divine outfits!	They've also brought some New Year's accessories. Askr's got a kadomatsu, a special New Year decoration usually set in front of gates or entrances. Meanwhile, Embla's carrying a bangasa, a colorful paper umbrella!	You know, the hakama pants that Askr's wearing actually have a hole for his tail! And you might not notice because of the haori coat she's wearing, but Embla's traditional obi is tied into a beautiful knot at the back!
