Eitri (Japanese:エイトリEitri) is a playable character appearing in Book V ofFire Emblem Heroes. Eitri is a skilled inventor and a sage dwelling in the forests ofNiðavellir. Initially presenting herself as an ally of theOrder of Heroes due to their shared enemy inFáfnir, Eitri is revealed to be the main antagonist of Book V as she assistsÓtr in kidnapping Kiran for her own ends and is responsible for Fáfnir's corruption.

Role

Eitri was first mentioned in at the start ofchapter 2 of Book V, with her sanctum stated byReginn as being roughly three days' travel; later on in the chapter, during part 4,Ótr deduces that theOrder of Heroes are seeking her out and sets out in hope of stopping them.

At the start ofthe following chapter, Eitri's role as an inventor is revealed throughSharena nearly falling into the traps she had invented to protect her sanctum. At the end of the chapter, Eitri makes her first physical appearance rescuing the Order fromFáfnir's clutches, preparing to take them to her sanctum.

It is later revealed that Eitri was working with Ótr in kidnapping Kiran in order to create a replica ofBreidablik, although the Heroes summoned are empty husks.

Eitri was later first made available to players on November 30, 2021 as the game's thirty-second Legendary Hero; she is notably the firstHeroes-original Legendary Hero to originate after the Mythic Hero concept originated at the start of Book III nearly three years earlier, and also the first Legendary Hero to debut in the same summoning event as a Mythic Hero (in this caseThórr).

Eitri: Youthful Sage
The adorable Eitri is one of Niðavellir's top scholars—there's no greater authority on seiðjárn than her!	Eitri spends her time carrying out research in a secluded corner of Niðavellir known as the sage's forest. When we went to see her, we were given quite the welcome…by which I mean the forest was filled with a whole bunch of traps.	Reginn asked Eitri for help in putting an end to Fáfnir's invasion. She agreed to devise a plan to defeat him, provided that we bring her the magic sword Gramr!	Eitri's knowledge of seiðjárn will be essential if we're going to put the brakes on Fáfnir's invasions of other kingdoms. We've got to secure her aid, not just for us, but for the sake of Niðavellir as well!
