Drain Essence (Japanese:力ノ渇望Thirst for power)isspecial weapon which was introduced inFire Emblem Engage. It is one ofFell Nil's exclusive attacks and is a weaker variant of the weaponDevastation. It is a powerful area-of-effect attack that kills all enemies and allies within a predetermined area but also leaves behindEmblem Energy in the place of defeated units. The user will heal or gain a revival stone based on how many units were killed and if aCorrupted Royal unit was killed by the attack, the user will gain a predetermined skill from them. The skills obtained are the same as those gained from using Devastation.
