Defiant Def (Japanese:守備の覚醒Awakening defense) is a three-tiered passive type Askill which debuted inFire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill areDefiant Def 1,Defiant Def 2, andDefiant Def 3 in order from lowest to highest. Defiant Def boosts its user'sdefense when they start a turn with lowHP; the size of the boost increases with the skill's tier.
The skill was later introduced to the main series inThree Houses, where it is an ability obtained by mastering theGreat Knight class. It retains a similar effect and use to what it had inHeroes.
