Dancing Blade (Japanese:柔剣Gentle Blade), known asFlashing Blade inHeroes, is askill which debuted inFire Emblem Fates. InFates, it is a class skill associated with theLodestar class. It grants a sizable boost to the user'sspeed at the slight cost of a point ofdefense.
InHeroes, the individual tiers of the skill are known asFlashing Blade 1,Flashing Blade 2,Flashing Blade 3, andFlashing Blade 4 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Flashing Blade skill, if faster than their target, accelerate the cooldown for their special skills with each strike they make; the Speed threshold required for activation is affected by the skill's tier up to the third tier, with the fourth tier adding a boost to its user's damage.
