Dance in the Skies (Japanese:空に舞うDancing in the Skies) is the fourth chapter ofFire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War.Sigurd flees from the traitorous dukes and takes refuge in Silesse, but is forced to put down a rebellion byDaccar.
Plot

Sigurd and his companions take refuge inSilesse under the protection of QueenLahna. During this time,Quan,Ethlyn, andFinn depart to raise an army inLeonster and properly help Sigurd. However, the king's brothersMyos andDaccar launch a rebellion to seize control of Silesse with the support ofAndrey and the traitorousGrannvale dukes. Sigurd battles his way through Silesse and puts down the rebellion. In the aftermath, he learns thatLombard and his forces have conquered Lubeck Castle to the east and are preparing to invade Silesse. In order to prevent them from getting caught up in his conflict with Lombard, Sigurd decides to face the traitors head on.

- The map ofParalogue 2 ofFire Emblem Awakening is a recreation of the area around the second-westernmost village in this chapter.
- As an armored unit,Arden is entirely unable to cross the mountainterrain on the path to Silesse castle altogether. As a result, it is impossible for him to fight the Zaxon forces without seizing Silesse castle first and warping him there, or makingAzelle andEdain lovers and using theRescue staff to get him past the mountains.
