Analysis

This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience.

Daichi is a prepromotedBasara, first available when persuaded in the prison ofMy Castle after being captured byOrochi orNiles inParalogue 10 ofFates. His level, stats, and weapon ranks very depending on when the paralogue is played. The biggest problem in his stat lineup is his terrible luck, only going up to at max seven the latest the paralogue is played until the enemies andSelkie stop stat scaling.

Since bonus capturable bosses have a low amount of obtainable skills, it is best to acquire all skills available to his various classes. At level 5 of either class, Daichi getsSeal Defense for a good debuff skill, thenSwap at level 6, which allows him to reposition and pull someone away or forward. For skills exclusive to his respective promoted classes, Basara learnsRend Heaven, which is great when paired with his great Skill stat, meaning it will activate more frequently. The only other skill that Basara learns isQuixotic, which is mostly positive for both routes, whereBirthright enemies rarely have skills of their own, andRevelation where enemies will usually only have the two skills from their base class. His other available class,Spear Master, also offers great skills. This class learnsSeal Speed for another debuff skill, andLancefaire to boost Daichi's Attack by 5 when using a lance or naginata. Both of these classes can be used as a final class. Basara has more balanced growths, with Speed, Luck and Resistance being lower than the rest, and having access to scrolls for another weapon type that he can actually use with his decent Magic base and growth. Spear Master features higher growths in Strength, Skill, Speed and Defense, but features reduced growths in HP, Magic, Luck and Resistance.
