Daggerbreaker
| ||||
|
Daggerbreaker (Japanese:暗器殺しConcealed Weapon Slayer), known asShurikenbreaker inFire Emblem Fates andKnifebreaker inFire Emblem Engage (Japanese:短剣殺しKnife slayer), is askill which debuted inFire Emblem Fates. It gives its user enormous advantages when fighting an enemy who is wielding adagger orshuriken. InFates, where it a class skill learned byBow Knights, it provides boosts to its user'shit rate andavoid when fighting these weapons.
InHeroes, it is a type B passive skill split into three levels, in order from lowest to highest:Daggerbreaker 1,Daggerbreaker 2, andDaggerbreaker 3. Units with a Daggerbreaker skill will, when fighting the user of a dagger skill while this skill's user's own HP is at a certain threshold or higher, automatically make a follow-up attack and prevent the dagger skill's user from doing so themselves. The minimum amount of current HP required to activate the skill decreases with each level.
InFire Emblem Engage, the skill retains its effect fromHeroes, though it does not have multiple versions and activates by remaining above half health. In this game, it is one of several skills that are exclusively used by some high-level enemies on the game's hardest difficulty mode,Maddening. Knifebreaker and all other "breaker" skills are exclusive to enemyPaladins.
