Dactyl (Japanese:ダクティルDactyl) is aGrustian general, and the boss ofChapter 17x ofFire Emblem: Shadow Dragon; he is a new addition to the plot of theWar of Shadows that did not appear inShadow Dragon & the Blade of Light or its first remake, Book 1 ofMystery of the Emblem.
Biography
The leader of a remnant band of Grustians that survived theretaking of Altea, Dactyl is the nominal protector of Grust's remaininggold and provisions assisted by theManaketes ofDolhr. Upon theArchanean League approaching, Dactyl took the opportunity to attempt to persuade the localmageEtzel to join his cause, stripping him of histome and ring in the process; blackmailing him with the ring, Dactyl eventually obtained feigned obedience from Etzel, but would eventually be defeated by the League.
Role
Dactyl is the boss ofChapter 17x.
