Coliseum is a collection of game modes inFire Emblem Heroes that encompasses interaction with other players in cooperative and competitive combat. It debuted in the game on April 27, 2019, succeeding the Arena Duels collection which had previously encompassed two of the modes that currently make up the Coliseum. With the exception of Summoner Duel running two- or three-week seasons as opposed to the one-week seasons of other modes, the modes in the Coliseum all run on the same seasonal schedule, and thus refresh their content at the same time.

Allegiance Battles

Allegiance Battles are a cooperative game mode where the player fights semi-randomized pre-programmed enemies on a pre-set map that rotates weekly, possibly with the help of one of their friends' units as aPair Up to the player's fourth team slot. Rewards includeDragonflowers andHero Feathers.

Arena

Arena is a competitive game mode where players take on other players' teams seeking to boost their rank both offensively and defensively, with the primary goal being five offensive wins in a row. Rewards include Hero Feathers,Orbs,Arena Medals,Sacred Coins, andRefining Stones.

Arena Assault

Arena Assault is a competitive game mode that acts as a combination of the above Arena mode withSquad Assault, where players take on other players' teams using unique combinations of units for each successive battle, with the primary goal of seven victories in a row. Rewards include items specifically for usage in the mode as well as Sacred Coins and Hero Feathers.

Resonant Battles

Resonant Battles is a competitive game mode that pits players against an army half consisting of generic colored thieves and half consisting of a fixed lineup of enemies from certain games, with the primary goal of preventing the thieves from escaping the map. Rewards include items specifically for usage in Arena Assault as well asDivine Code: Part items and a rotating wheel of other rewards including Dragonflowers, Hero Feathers,Blessings, andDivine Dew.

Summoner Duels

Main article:Summoner Duel

Summoner Duel is a competitive game mode that pits players against each other in real-time battles. Gameplay alternates between players each and every move, with the primary goal being to either be the player with any units standing or have the higher score after five turns. Rewards include Dragonflowers, Divine Code: Part items,Heroic Grails, Divine Dew, Sacred Coins, andForma Souls.
