Close Ward (Japanese:明鏡の反撃・近距離Short-Range Mirror Counterattack) is a passive type Askill which debuted inFire Emblem Heroes; Close Ward comes in only one tier. When a foe using a tome,staff, orbreath initiates combat, Close Ward allows its user to counterattack regardless of range, negates effects that allow a foe to target the lower of the user's defensive stats, and boosts its user'sattack andresistance.
