Circadian Beat

Circadian Beat (Japanese:性格豹変Personality change) is anability which debuted inFire Emblem: Three Houses. The personal ability ofConstance, it grants the user varying effects depending on the type of map they are fighting in. In an indoor map, the ability increases the user's offensive stats, while in an outdoor map, it instead increases the user's defensive stats.
Along with the stat boosts, Circadian Beat is also indicated in-game by Constance herself; she has a separate set of portraits, facial expressions, and voice lines for both indoor maps and outdoor maps.

Trivia
- Although the main map ofAzure Moon Chapter 22 andSilver Snow Chapter 19/Verdant Wind Chapter 20 has certain portions of the map taking place in the sunlight, it counts as an indoor map for this ability.
