Caeldori (Japanese:マトイMatoi) is the daughter ofSubaki, and aSky Knight ofHoshido.

She is intentionally made to be very similar toCordelia fromFire Emblem Awakening.

Role

Caeldori is Subaki's daughter, recruitable after he marries. Like the other children of Corrin and their companions, Caeldori was placed in the Deeprealms when she was born in order to keep her safe from the war. Time in the Deeprealms flows much more quickly than outside it, and Caeldori reached young adulthood in a very short span of time.

In her paralogue, Truly Talented, Corrin and company join together to fight off invaders, and Caeldori arrives to help, making for her first battle. After the invaders are driven off, Caeldori asks Subaki if she can join the group, as she wants to hone her skills and catch up to her father's perfection. Though Subaki has the uneasy feeling that she has already surpassed him, he concedes; Caeldori joins the group and stays with them thereafter.

Caeldori retains several personality traits from her previous life, being regarded by all as a prodigy; however, she constantly understates her own talents, believing that she must always try to improve further. In most cases, she is shown to be incredibly skilled at whatever she does throughout her supports, be it writing, combat, or organization. She is incredibly proud of her work, and has been shown to look down on others who do not share her drive or skimp out on their workload in the army. She is said to be the one who falls deepest in love in the army. In her supports, it is also revealed that she is an avid reader, spending much of her childhood reading. Caeldori also looks up heavily to her mother, admiring her hardworking nature in contrast to Subaki's naturally gifted skills and attitude.

Caeldori: Perfect Angel
Caeldori is the daughter of Subaki, the accomplished sky knight. Given her family’s long history of serving Hoshido, there’s a lot for Caeldori to live up to. Still, she might just be an even more talented sky knight than her father!	Growing up, Caeldori always looked up to her father and worked hard to come closer to perfection, bit by bit. Now, as a sky knight racing through the battlefield, she has the composure and presence of a goddess of war!	That said, if there’s one weakness she has, it’s her love life. For some reason, she often ends up falling for people who are spoken for already, and she has been known to suffer from unrequited love.	Still, that quirk is just part of her charm, and I’m sure that a hard worker like her is guaranteed to find the perfect partner one day! I’ll be rooting for you, Caeldori!
