For the monster weapon fromFire Emblem Fates, seeGauntlet.

Brawling (Japanese:格闘術Grappling skill) weapons orgauntlets (Japanese:籠手gauntlet) are aweapon type which was introduced inFire Emblem: Three Houses. They are the weakest weapon type in this game and universally have lowermight than their counterparts, but they tend to have goodaccuracy and are by far the mostlightweight weapons. Additionally, every gauntlet acts as abrave weapon, compensating their relatively low might.

Overview

Unlike other weapons inThree Houses, puremagical-oriented classes and mounted classes cannot use brawling weapons. If a mounted classdismounts however, some of them can use brawling weapons.
