InFire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, it is the most basic bow, featuring aweapon level of 1. InGaiden and again inShadows of Valentia, it is the basic weapon forArchers,Snipers, andBow Knights, and one of two basic weapon choices forHeroes, with no basemight of its own but being wieldable without otherwise having a weapon equipped. The Bow has an extended range compared to its counterparts in other weapon types, being able to hit between one and three tiles away inGaiden and between one and two tiles inShadows of Valentia, making bow users able to attack and counterattack adjacent enemies.
