TheBolt Axe (Japanese:ボルトアクスBolt Axe) is the sole magicaxe present in theFire Emblem series, debuting inFire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Channelingthunder powers, attacks using the Bolt Axe are fuelled by the unit'smagic stat and target the foe'sresistance, instead ofstrength anddefense. InPath of Radiance only, it is also not affected by theweapon triangle for physical weapons and is neutral toswords andlances, and it is instead affected by theTrinity of Magic, having an advantage overfire magic and a disadvantage towind magic.
