It is themed toShade, one of the mascots for theFire Emblem Cipher trading card game, and distributed as promotionalDLC via one of its starter decks. The Black Crescent Moon is an accessory that can be worn by the equipper, and provides bonuses to theirdefense andresistance.
No method of acquisition was released for international releases ofEchoes: Shadows of Valentia, making this item exclusive to Japanese copies of the game.
