Beach Brawl/Script
Ryoma andTakumi meetXander andLeo, who have arrived at an impasse—Corrin won a ticket for a tropical vacation and insisted that one of their siblings use it, but they cannot determine who should go; Xander offers the ticket to the Hoshidan royals, but they cannot resolve who among them should have it. Their retainers then arrive, each insisting that their lord should take the vacation, and begin to bicker between each other; Xander determines that the only solution is to battle for the ticket.
The player selects one of the eight royal siblings to play as, and the remainder of the story focuses on them. Before battle, each royal speaks with their retainers; most of them are hesitant to compete, but their retainers insist they deserve the ticket and will enjoy the vacation. The battle then begins.
After the player's victory, their chosen character congratulates their retainers on their performance, and their retainers wish them well on their vacation. Later, the retainers receive a letter from their lord describing their vacation, as well as a photograph of them at the beach.

Strategy
| This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |

Elise
Elise's team is quite easy to complete with, as you start with additional healing in Elise herself, where she also doubles as a good magical tank, and strong bulky units inEffie andArthur, especially when paired up. The player also starts by aFire Orb to keep Elise out of damage range after baiting units in. Effie in pair up with Arthur can easily clear most of the enemies on the map. One of the biggest problems can beLeo's team since you have to move further into their range to get them to move. Effie and Arthur will have to be the ones to take the attacks, as Elise will be destroyed byNiles'sHunter Bow. Other than that, the player can finish the map quite leisurely. Just remember to debuff the enemy's stats with theDragon Veins.
Xander
Xander's team is in a slightly precarious spot, as they are thrown right into the action on turn one, as they start deep into the range ofCamilla's team, and they have no way to escape, meaning they'll have to engage immediately. Start by pairing up Xander withLaslow, and move them down toward the Dragon Vein. HavePeri follow close behind. They are all good enough to survive attacks at this time. Activate the Dragon Vein, and beat Camilla's team into the dirt. Once that's accomplished, the player can move anywhere they want to. Once again, Leo can be an issue, as all of Xander's team members are not very good against magic. To have the best shot at staying alive, activate the Dragon Vein, take out Niles and either Leo orOdin, and hope the survivor doesn't kill your units.
Trivia
- The ending to the Team Xander scenario depicts him holding a float in the likeness ofLilith, with it being stated that the float is due to the fact that he can't swim; this is in contradiction to Xander'sB-rank support with Leo, in which Xander is stated to be a strong swimmer.
- The float depicted would go on to appear as anaxe skill inFire Emblem Heroes'sNohrian Summer update, theLilith Floatie, wielded by a special variation of Xander.
